Bean Day kicks off Friday evening at the Wagon Mound Firehouse. This is the time
when volunteers get together for the traditional bean-cleaning party to remove rocks and dirt
from the 300 lbs. of dried pinto beans. Would you like to be part of this event?
All you need to do is show up at 6 p.m., bring a bowl to put the clean beans in
(if you have one), grab a seat and dig in!
Then, stick around because once all the beans have been cleaned, the 10th Annual Fundraiser Dinner of pulled pork with sides, dessert and a drink will begin followed by the Friday Night Street Dance.
